An Extended History of BlueJamK
Once upon a time in a land so far away that they didn't have internet connection, there lived a king. The king had a daughter who was really pretty. Anyway, one day the pretty princess pricked her finger on a spindle which by some obscure reason, killed her (blood loss?). Suddenly a fairy brought her back to life with some Phoenix Down but the princess sank into a deep deep deep sleep (a coma?). In any case, the pretty princess (and the rest of the castle that she lived in) slumbered on for a hundred years in which Richard the Lionhearted lived and died and the microchip was invented. But one sunny day, a prince came striding into the castle, found the princess and was so awed by her beauty that he fell on his face. Luckily for him, he didn't suffer too much a an injury and managed to sneak the sleeping princess a kiss. Now in modern times, the prince would be charged with sexual assault, but in those days it was completely fine. So the princess woke up and they lived happily ever after.
But that's not the point. One day these two friends decided that they had had enough of being bored and so spent the entire time of a 30 minute boat trip making a nice name. This was settled upon "BlueJam". They messed around for a while before one kicked the other and got their heads screwed on. Then they made a blog. Their first attempt at posting was completely useless and did nothing. But then some other guy joined and the "K" was added on the name for "BlueJamK". They did some crazy crap for a while that was fun but then someone slacked off. Now, normally in things that don't matter (like reading groups and washing hands before eating) slacking off is not so bad. But this thing did matter so when this particular guy slacked off, he got what was coming. Hmm... nice weather.
