The song is quite catchy and after members of 4chan requested the background of the /v/ (videogame) board to be changed to some rainbow colours, it really kicked off. Robot Unicorn Attack on the [adult swim] games website had a massive increase in plays (now 34 million). The colourful masculine virus spread through the internet with pictures like this...
Well yeah you get the point. Now aside from the fact that it started some internet frenzy, the game itself is rather playable (set in some stupid magical world where you play as a robot unicorn with rainbow hair in a land where grass is purple and the sky is polluted with rainbows and pixies) and is useful if you find yourself bored.
